Hy-Grade’s mascot is a turtle named Nailz and we’re often known as “that turtle roofing company.” Each year we donate to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre (home of Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre) in hopes of helping provide care to Nailz’s friends and family.

Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre is a registered charity whose goal is to protect and conserve Ontario’s native turtles and the habitat in which they live. This is accomplished by operating a turtle hospital that treats, rehabilitates, and releases injured turtles, by performing extensive research in the field to further conservation initiatives, and by running a comprehensive education and outreach program. The OTCC strives to increase awareness of the challenges facing Ontario’s turtles and to inspire individuals to act!

Did you know that 7 out of 8 species of Ontario turtles are at risk?
